Anxiety is something that plagues us all from time-to-time. Here is a great those who battle anxiety or know someone who does. It is only .99 cents now on Kindle. This is a staple in my counseling resource library!

2. Charles Spurgeon’s, “The Pastor in Prayer”

If we are not paying pastors we are not pastors. Our call is to pray and preach God’s word. Here is a classic work from Spurgeon on the role of prayer in the preacher and pastor’s life. Only $2.99 on Kindle.

4. “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” by Jordan Smith

Okay, I’ll admit it… I’ve been watching The Voice. Well, actually, Molly was watching it and I got sucked in. This week is the finally and I am rooting for Jordan Smith. He’s been in the top of the charts, even beating Adele for a few days. He testimony for the Gospel was clear on the Voice; I was proud of Him for that. Get his track, “Great is Thy Faithfulness.” I set it as the song for my morning alarm. Love it.

5. “Show them Jesus” by Jack Klumpenhower

Raising kids? Our call is to show them Jesus. Here is a great book with practical tips for a guy that has been embraced by the Biblical Counseling world. It is only $3.03 this week on Kindle. Jack also has many great resources on his personal site.
